December 18, 1970 ~ August 16, 2025

Mandy Michele Shipley, 54, of Columbus, died at 5:00 p.m. on August 16, 2025 at Franciscan Health Indianapolis surrounded by family and friends. Mandy was born December 18, 1970 in Columbus, the daughter of Michael Ray Shipley and Linda Susan (Ward) Fleetwood. Mandy was a kind-hearted and loving soul whose greatest joy was her family. She had a gift for listening and was always there with an open heart and gentle words when someone needed to talk. Mandy found joy in life’s simple pleasures-whether it was getting lost in a good book, discovering a new show, or sharing laughter and love with those closest to her. She also shared with her daughter, Katlyn, a profound love for animals. One of her favorite pastimes was singing and dancing with her granddaughter, Kylin, moments that filled her with happiness and created cherished memories. She also shared a special tradition with her mother, Linda, attending the Covered Bridge Festival each year and delighting in finding just the right Christmas gifts for her loved ones. Mandy’s warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2025 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Chaplain John Bundick officiating. Calling will be from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Ohio Chapel. 1. I’m so sorry to hear about ( My Mandy) that’s what I called her at work when we both were at Kroger, Linda Allen& I were planning to visit with her when I get back in December. She was Precious & we all loved her. I’m sending a check via the Funeral Home to Marcus for her headstone. 🩵🙏🏻

  2. Mandy was one of my first friends in high school. Such a sweet lady. I enjoyed her facebook posts of her family she loved dearly. Big hugs to her family and friends

  3. Mandy always liked to have fun. We would laugh and joke and tease each other. But she always knew how much I loved her, and I was fortunate enough to be with her on her journey. Mandy has Many people that love her very match. She will be missed

  4. She had such a joyful smile and her heart was as big as the world. Will always remember her that way… you will be missed forever, by all who knew and had the chance to know you… I thank you for giving me a special Nephew that I will cherish forever… Fly High Beautiful 🙏

  5. Mandy was one of my best friends as a young teenager growing up. She was always so much fun to be around but yet she was so good always trying to keep me in line. She was sweet and kind with a little bit of sass, definitely someone that if you knew her you couldn’t help but love her. We made lots of memories and did a lot of silly things as young teenage girls do but she made an impression on my life as I am sure she has everyone that she came across. It breaks my heart for her family because she was a beautiful soul and I know she was loved and will be missed so much. I pray God’s arms will be wrapped around each one of you and give you the peace and comfort you need to get you through this time. Arin (Hurt) Larrison
