Margaret M. Brown July 16, 1916 - May 26, 2006 Margaret M. Brown, 89, of Pennsylvania Street, died at 11:24 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2006 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mrs. Brown a member of Hope Bible Students. Margaret loved knitting and playing euchre at the Senior Center on Fridays. She also loved her family, gardening and nature. Mrs. Brown was born July 16, 1916 in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of Harry Melvin and Laura Louise Beck McCleary. She married Paul S. Brown on August 20, 1937. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra L. Chastain of Columbus; grandchildren, Stephen David (Lori) Chastain of Greenwood and Elizabeth (Doug) Chaney of Shelbyville; and greatgrandchildren, Trent James and Keller Chastain. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on May 30, 2005; a sister, Clare Todd Conklin; and a brother, Charles McCleary. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at JewellRittman Family Funeral Home, with John Baker and Mark Chastain officiating.
