She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Richard Collins and Pansy Hubbard Collins, and siblings Michael Collins, Inez Collins Traylor, Richard “Dickie” Collins, and Shawn Collins, all of whom she will be reunited with in spirit. Maggy was a proud 1971 Columbus High School graduate, dedicated her professional life to working as a Senior Administrative Assistant for the law firm Ice Miller and the pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly for many years until her retirement. Her colleagues admired her for her work ethic, but even more so for her ability to brighten any room with her warm greetings and engaging conversations. Maggy was known for her love of cooking, a passion that blossomed into a cherished tradition with her family. She took great joy in preparing many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, where her various homemade meals, including lasagna, became many beloved recipes, often described as the best anyone had ever tasted. She also found immense pleasure in nurturing her family with delicious meals and heartfelt moments. Her passions included her love for her beloved dogs, which brought her immense joy and companionship, as she often shared stories about her dogs with friends and family. 1. My hugs and prayers going out to Maggy’s Sons and family. I first meet Maggy at the Girls Club in grade school. She was a kind and sweet Friend. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. RIP my friend.

  2. So very sorry for your loss. Maggy was a co-worker of mine for many years at Ice Miller. She always had a smiling face and could light up a room with her presence. Rest In Peace, my friend.

    • Maggy always spoke her mind with kindness. She could tell the most funniest stories & jokes, leaving us all with sore siides with laughter. I love you, & will cherise my memories of her. R.I.P. Margaret.

  3. One year when I was probably 11-12 years old our family was a having a reunion in Illinois the following weekend so Aunt Maggy talked my Momma, who was Maggy’s bff since my Mom was 12 and Aunt Maggy was 14 , into letting me come a week early to spend it with her. We had the absolute best time and Aunt Maggy always spoiled me rotten. She will be greatly missed but knowing that her and Momma are together in Heaven brings great peace and solace in this difficult time. I love you Always Aunt Maggy until we meet again, I’ll be loving you. Love Me 💜

  4. Maggy is one of the best friends I have ever had. We first met years ago at ice Miller while we were both legal assistants. I was new and felt like a fish out of water, until the day I looked up as Maggy walked by. She gave me a big smile and said hello, and that’s when our friendship started. Maggy was smart, witty, funny and very compassionate. A few years ago when I’d had a KidneyTransplant, Maggy came to visit me. She insisted that I get up and get out of the house, that I get out in the sun and then I go for a little walk. She said that would be good for me. It was but what was even better for me was Maggy’s sweet friendship. I love her and miss her and will remember her all my life.

  5. We are sorry we cannot come in person to share hugs and memories with everyone. We have been ill and don’t want to share with everyone. Please continue to share her joy with all. For Hattie – we miss you so much our friend. Love from Jerry and Ellen Norfrey (same phone number!)
