Margaret Spurgeon December 03, 1951 - June 05, 2005 Margaret "Sissy" Spurgeon, 53, of Della Road died at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2005, at her home. Mrs. Spurgeon lived her early life in Kentucky but most of her life in Columbus. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family. She also attended The Jewell-Village Separate Bapist Chruch in Columbus, IN. Born in Stanford, KY Dec. 3,1951, Mrs. Spurgeon was the daughter of Harvy Griffen and Emma Baker. She married Harry "Gene" Spurgeon on May 5, 1972. Suvivors include her husband; daughters, Lisa Roberts, Veronica Sharp, and Tawana Jones all of Columbus; brothers; Ron and Don Griffin of Columbus, Larry Griffin of North Vernon, Harvey Griffin of Harrodsburg, KY, Steven Baker of Florida, and Marc Baker of Pennsylvania; sisters, Latreasia Gilbert of North Vernon, and Tonja Muller of Greenwood; 11 grandchildern; 1 great-grandchild She was procded in death by her father Havey Griffin, brother Elbie-Ray Griffin, sisters Debra Griffith and Wnada Griffin.
