Margie Elaine Brundage, 77, of North Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour with her husband and daughter by her side. Margie was born in Madison, Indiana on January 1, 1947, to Harvey Ray and Ada Eveline Liles Whitham. Margie was united in marriage to Wayne Brundage on April 14, 2001. They lived in Arizona while they continued with their respective careers. She held various secretarial positions, working for law firms in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Arizona Department of Corrections in Florence and Phoenix, Arizona. They downsized to live and travel in their RV for a while after her retirement and finally settled down in Indiana in 2009 near their family. Margie loved dancing, camping, sewing, and going to Ormond Beach in Florida for family get-togethers, and we can’t forget her passion for riding her Harley Davidson up into her early 60s. She especially enjoyed visiting with her great-grandchildren. Margie is survived by her husband, Wayne Brundage of North Vernon; daughters, Sherry (James) Thompson of North Vernon, Donna (Jason) Brodie of Phoenix, Arizona, Jennifer Kincaid, and Crissie Tabler, son; Michael (Michelle) Brundage, brothers, Ken (Susan) Whitham Sr. of Glendale, Arizona, Arthur (Sandy) Whitham of Phoenix, Arizona, along with her sister Linda Kay (Rick) Elms also of Phoenix, Arizona. Margie is also survived by 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and her fur baby Frost. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Allan Whitham, granddaughter, Kristen Lee Borup, and great-granddaughter Asuna Jade Claycamp. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home followed by the funeral service beginning at 1:00 with Rev.   2. A wonderful and loving cousin. She will b missed… Especially around reunion time. I’m so glad I got to see her last year at our family Reunion. Prayers for Donna, Sherry, Wayne and all of the family. Our hearts and prayers are with u all. I love u all..God had a better plan for her. She’s no more suffering and no more pain.
