Marie Jo Campbell, 84, of Columbus, died at 7:45 AM on July 23, 2025, at The Belmont Health and Rehabilitation Center. Marie was born March 21, 1941, in Green Castle, the daughter of John L. Williams and Ida Marjorie (Noel) Williams. Marie was very proud to have been a founding member of the Bible Church of Columbus. She was a very active member in her church, being involved in the choir and a Hand Bell Choir member. She retired from Arvins after 27 years of service. Marie had also been an active member of the Berean Church. Marie also enjoyed reading books by Dr. Stanley and Dr. David Jeremiah. A great lady of faith, Marie will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2025, at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor David Marvin officiating. Calling will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service date. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bible Church of Columbus or Word of Life Bible College. Survivors include daughters, Carmen (Tim) Kreinhagen, of Columbus, Carin Campbell, of Columbus and Cari Strong, of Mundelein, IL.; a sister, Lenora May Jeffries, of Columbus; grandchildren, Cara (Travis) Eckelman, Megan Deweese, Brent Harkless, Mackenzie Strong, and Kameron Strong; great-grandchildren, Kylin Eckelman, Morgan (Gug) Eckelman, Arliss Hieston and Trace Eckelman. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Norma Jean Woodard.
