VISITATION: Calling will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. BURIAL: Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort, Indiana.MEMORIALS: Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Marilyn M. Grove, 78, of Columbus, passed away at 9:10 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017, at her residence. Marilyn was born August 13, 1939, to John Orval and Mildred McDaniel Grove in Tipton County, Indiana. She was involved in the family farm and was a registered nurse at Columbus Regional Hospital and Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. After retirement, she owned a pet sitting business in Columbus. Marilyn was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Nashville, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Scott Sharp and Sister Eileen Flavin officiating. Calling will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Survivors include her brothers, James (Barbara) Grove of Commiskey, Indiana, and Franklin Grove of Lafayette, Indiana; nieces, Teresa (Bill) Suppes, Becky (Ed) Courtright, Elizabeth (Scott) Sharp, Laura Collins and Susan (Jeremy) Suhre; nephews, David (Karen) Grove and Jacob (Maria) Grove; her dear friend, Delores Lorenz; several great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; and one great- great nephew. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents.






We are so sorry to hear of Marilyn’s passing. She was a guest of ours and also at one time had taken care of our fur babies. She was truly an angel.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Marilyn many years ago. She was a wonderful person, gifted soul, and inspirational nurse.
