Marjorie A. Davis, 74, of North Vernon, died at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mrs. Davis worked at the former CP Electronics and, after it closed, she loved doing home health care for the elderly. She was a loving mother and grandmother and dearly loved all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in Columbus Feb. 25, 1937, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of Grover Matthew Cooper and Anna Belle Cooper Chafin. She is survived by daughters, Phyllis Baldwin, with whom she made her home in North Vernon, IN, and Susie (Allen) Kelley of Hope, IN; a son, Danny Lee Baldwin of North Vernon, IN; a brother, Robert L. Cooper of Columbus, IN; six grandchildren, Lori (Tony) Henderson, Kimberly (Clayton) Oliphant, Chad (Callie) Baldwin, Melissa (John) Stine, Michelle (Ryan Boggs) Baldwin and Ashlee (Jesse) Spears; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Timothy Edward Baldwin; brothers, James Cooper and Grover Cooper; and sisters, Mary R. Cooper and Betty Green. SERVICES: Graveside rites 1:00 p.m. Monday January 30, 2012 at Garland Brook Cemetery. NO VISITATION

Margie really touched our hearts in a big way.She was always so happy and loving and always loved to talk about her grandkids and great grandkids.I know she is much better off in Heaven without pain and worries.Margie you will forever remain in our hearts.
