Marjorie L. Tissot February 19, 1920 - May 27, 2008 Marjorie L. Tissot, 88, of Nashville, died 1:03 p.m. Tuesday at the Brown County Health and Living. Born Feb. 19, 1920, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Tissot. After high school, Marjorie attended Kent State University for some time,graduating from UCLA with a degree in chemical engineering. She was employed by Douglas Aircraft during World War II, MGM Technicolor in California and Allison's in Indianapolis also. She opened "The Village Shop" in Nashville in 1947, and then opened "The Holiday House" as well. She was past president of the Nashville Town Board, as well as a member of several other civic organizations in Nashville. Survivors include three nieces, Carolyn Stucker of Lebanon, Marilyn Berman of Wooster, Ohio, and Marjorie Woodbury of Toledo, Ohio; one nephew, Edward Wright of Naples, Fla.; several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Tissot; and one sister, Marian Wright. Funeral Information MEMORIAL SERVICE: Will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2008 in the Onya La Tour Room at the Brown County Library in Nashville. INURNMENT: Will take place at Wellington Union Cemetery in Wellington, Ohio, at a later date. VISITATION: Will be 2-2:30 p.m. Friday in the Onya La Tour Room.
