Memories
Memories of Daddy, I’ll never let them fade
Often reminiscing of the childhood games we played.
Family vacations simple, my Daddy did his best, Working hard each day to better all the rest.
His heart lived for Jesus, He wore a smile on his face and spread the joy of life with his mercy and his grace.
As I talked, he listened, made suggestions and defend, he loved me more than ever, My Daddy, my best friend.
Strong and courage, he never showed the pain, with patience he looked forward, for Heaven was to gain. With final hours upon him, I never left his side, I sang praises with Daddy, a River I did cry. Like when I was little, I held his hand and kissed his face,
I said to him “go on, I love you” and watched him leave this place.
Father and daughter an untouchable bond in life was made, The memories of Daddy, I’ll never let them fade.
