  4. I knew Mark in High School and we wrestled, played football and hung out as friends during that time. Mark had said he was going to join the Air Force and ended up joining the Army like I did. I remember him as a nice guy and funny, always laughing and encouraging others. It is sad to see my friends pass away but I believe in the God of the Bible and so I believe in the life everlasting. If I know Mark then he is already there waiting and talking to Jesus. Mark was always a very determined guy and was a hard working kid when I knew him. he always had a goal and in sports he never quit even if we lost. The years we played football together were the best years in our football history before Muncie Northside was decommissioned as a high school several years after we were gone. God Bless you my friend and put in a good word for me up there. May God bless his family in this time of grief. mark was a good American and this country was better for having him here.
