Mark Steven Everroad
April 2, 1958 ~ March 31, 2025
Mark Steven Everroad, aged 67, completed his life journey on March 31, 2025, in his hometown of Columbus, Indiana, surrounded by the love of his family. Born to the late Joseph Jr. and Louise Behrens Everroad on April 2, 1958, in Columbus, Indiana, Mark's life was one defined by devotion, humor, and kindness.
A cherished husband, Mark leaves behind his beloved spouse, Linda Rosemeyer Everroad, with whom he shared countless loving memories. His legacy of laughter and warmth continues through his daughter, Nicole Roberson of Inverness, Florida. Though preceded in death by his step-daughter, Amanda Brown, Mark's joyous spirit lives on in his adoring grandchildren – Wesley, Joey, Bryson, Gypsie, Lyric, and Kaileigh.
Mark's life was enriched by his close bond with his siblings Pamela (Doug) Lindle, Donna (Jon) Kiefer, Karen (Mark) Hammel, Steve (Starla) Knox, Debby (Mark) Steinbarger, and John Everroad, who join in mourning his passing and celebrating his life. His brothers Theodore Knox, Bob Knox, and Alan Everroad, who preceded him in death, now welcome him to eternity's embrace.
The void left by Mark’s passing is felt in his absence from the chessboard, a pastime that brought him immense pleasure. A familiar and beloved face at both Flintwood Wesleyan Church and Gnawbone Wesleyan Church, his faith and optimistic outlook on life were as unwavering as his commitment to his family.
Mark's life was a living embodiment of the profound words by Ralph Waldo Emerson: "To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children ... to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." Indeed, Mark succeeded in touching countless hearts with his laughter and loving presence.
A funeral service celebrating Mark’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Revs. Wes Jones and Stan Loutner officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services Friday. He is to be laid to rest in Uniontown Cemetery.
A lighthouse of love, humor, and kindness, Mark's radiant spirit will be profoundly missed and eternally celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will remain a guiding light to his family, friends, and community.
