Martha L. Jackson August 30, 1925 - March 29, 2007 Martha L. Jackson, 81, of 25th Street died at 8:03 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Regency Place in Greenfield. Mrs. Jackson was president and owner of EM-JA Construction Co., was a member of Home Builders Association and a charter member of Women in Construction. She had been a member of Flintwood Wesleyan Church since 1941 and was a former church board member, Sunday school teacher and treasurer. An avid sports fan, she also enjoyed bowling and sponsored a bowling team. Born Aug. 30 1925, Mrs. Jackson was the daughter of Henry J. and Bernice G. Coots Jewell. She is survived by a son, Ted E. (Kimberlee) Jackson of Greenfield; a granddaughter, Keri Jackson of Columbus; sisters, Gladys Stillinger and Ruth Reedy, both of Columbus, and Alice Carroll of Indianapolis; longtime friends, Mildred and Sandy Dooley of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Marvin and Donald Jewell; and a sister, Jeneive Beck. Funeral Information VISITATION: Sunday April 1, 2007 from noon until 6 p.m. and also from 12:30 p.m. until service time Monday. FUNERAL: The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Revs. Paul Blair and Wesley Jones officiating.
