Martha Lou Watkins June 13, 1957 - November 12, 2010 Martha Lou Watkins, 53, of Dawson Street, died at 6:28 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at her home. Martha enjoyed gardening, being outside and animals, especially her dog Gidget. She was always doodling. Nothing meant more to her than her family, especially her grandchildren. Born in Barren County, Ky., June 13, 1957, Martha was the daughter of the Rev. Edward Lee Brown and Ruby Mildred Frazier Perry. She married Jerry Wayne Watkins Sept. 17, 1982. He survives. Also surviving are sons, Nickiah W. Watkins of Columbus, IN, Jerry Watkins Jr. of Columbus, IN, and Ronald W. Watkins of Columbus, IN; daughters, Bonnita G. (Bruce) Russell of Columbus, IN, Ashley Nicole Watkins of Columbus, IN, and Crystal Lynn Watkins of Columbus, IN; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Johnny Brown of Columbus, IN, Billy Brown of New Castle, IN, and Danny Brown of Henryville, IN; and sisters, Joann McBride of Columbus, IN, Sandy Blair of Cave City, KY, and Betty Lou Lankey of Horse Cave, KY.
