Martha Mullis

FUNERAL: 7 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Jones officiating. CALLING: 5 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home Martha Mullis, 78, of 14th Street, died at 11:15 a.m. August 28, 2018, at her home. Martha was born January 1, 1940, in Brown County, the daughter of the late Pete and Nettie Lucas White. She loved animals and country music, especially classic country. Martha was a loving grandmother and was more concerned with everyone else before herself. She loved children, always treating them as her own.    Survivors include her husband, Roger Townsend; son, Roger Townsend McCauleyJr. of Starks, Florida; sisters-in-law, Diana (Roy) Lester and Christine McAnelly, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Exzabriel Phelps and Ivyawnna Phelps; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
