Marvin L. Bradley, 60, of Union Street, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at his home. He was born in Columbus, September 10, 1951, the son of the late James M. Bradley and Ruby M. Myers Bradley of Columbus. He married Lorene A. Armuth September 9, 1978. She survives. Marvin graduated from Columbus High School in 1969, where he participated in sports. He then attended Purdue University, where he played football. Marvin was a member of 4-H and Rural Youth. He was baptized at Ogilville Church of Christ. Marvin owned a baseball card shop, was an installer and office manager for Kiel Interiors and All In One Window Treatments, and office manager at Midwest Computer Solutions. Marvin also officiated volleyball, baseball and softball for Columbus Parks and Recreation. Marvin enjoyed flea marketing and computer gaming. He was also owner/operator of Thunderware BBS. Marvin is survived by his mother; his wife; sons, Christopher L. Bradley and Gregory L. Bradley, both of Columbus; and a sister, Connie S. (Mike Barnes) Bradley, of Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by his father. SERVICES: 1:00 p.m. Monday May 14, 2012 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Doran Chambers officiating. VISITATION: 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday May 13, 2012 at the funeral home FINAL RESTING PLACE: St. Paul Lutheran Church Clifty Cmetery MEMORIALS: Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Making Missions Possible, 6045 E.   10. Hey Marvin, I did not know you personally, but I have heard from Connie a lot about the beautiful childhood memories you shared her. Your son Greg is also a friend and i could feel the tension that your sister and son were going through during those struggling times you spent in the hospital. My heart goes out to Lorene and the boys and Connie and your mom who is not even aware of her loss. I am sure you will take care of all of them from up above there and will always be their strength. RIP Marvin..I just wish I had an opportunity to meet you in person. Thanks Connie for sharing this link with me ..you atleast made it possible for me to share my feelings.
