Mary B. Heitz

Mary B. Heitz, 85, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Hickory Creek of Columbus, IN. Mary was born in Corn Creek, KY on March 18, 1937 to Albert W. Rowlett and Lottie E. Williams Rowlett. She married Richard Heitz. Mary was previously employed at Cardinal Services and founder of Dollar Savers Bookkeeping and Tax Services. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2022 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Mary will be laid to rest at Garland Brook Cemetery beside her husband Richard. Survivors include her son, Rick Heitz of Columbus, IN; daughter, Jenny Heitz of Columbus, IN; grandchildren, Ashley (Kody) Letterle, Misty Settle, Christopher Settle and Heather (Brady) Colvin; great grandchildren, Maci Settle, Maileigh Settle, Madeline Settle, Hudson and Gracie Letterle; a sister, Norma (Ross) Baker of Columbus, IN She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Heitz on December 25, 1999; brothers, James, Leonard, William, Virgil, Carroll Ray, Cecil Rowlett and a stillborn, Nelson Rowlett; sister, Lena Mae Boldery and 2 great grandchildren.
