Masil I. Carmer July 17, 1926 - May 11, 2009 Masil I. Carmer, 82,of Columbus, died at 3:52 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Carmer was born July 17, 1926 in Albion, Indiana, the daughter of Harry and Sarah McCleery Gallion. She married Ray T. Carmer Sr. Sept. 23, 1944. He passed away May 13, 1991. Survived and loved by sons, Roy (Debra) Carmer Jr. of Paragould, Arkansas, Dennis (Gracia) Carmer of Brooksville, Florida, and Greg S. (Judy) Carmer of Columbus; daughters, Barbara (Keith) Penrose of Columbus, Linda L. Carmer of Columbus and Cindy J. (Dave) Moss of French Lick; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Masil was preceded in death by her husband; a son-in-law, Keith Penrose; a grandson; two great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. David R. Moss officiating. VISITATION: Will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday. BURIAL: Will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
