Friday at the funeral home Matthew David Haberman, 24, of North Vernon, died at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Matthew was born December 8, 1989 in Columbus, the son of Alan D. and Tammy G. Hardin Haberman. Matthew was currently employed at Aisin Corporation. He loved hunting, fishing, sports and NASCAR, Survivors include his father, Alan D. Haberman of Minnesota; mother and step-father, Tammy G. and David Bryant of North Vernon; brother, Mike Cherry, Jr. of Martinsville; sisters, Haley (Justin) Beesley of Columbus, Shannon (Larry) Myers of Westport and Amanda (Wayne) Smith of Morgantown; grandparents, David and Roberta Hardin of Columbus; Great-Grandma, Patricia Hardin of Columbus; several cousins and nephews; and a very close cousin, Michaela Ferguson. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Guss Hardin; and great-grandparents, Sylvester and Sara Bingham.






We are so sorry for the loss of Matt. He will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have known Matt for 6 years or so. Great guy. Always smiling. Not sure if there is Hunting or Fishing in Heaven, but if there is I know what he is doing. Will be missed by many. Everyone liked Matt.
