  1. I had the privilege to know and work with Maurice at Cummins Engine Co. since the early 1970s. Maurice was a great colleague; he was always helpful to us when we needed data in support of projects. Maurice had a great sense of humor and was well respected for his knowledge and his patience

  2. Dean & Janet Pierson We first met Maury at IU in 1967 as he was working on his MBA at the Business School. Later, we ended up working at Cummins together & renewed acquaintances. Over the years I worked with Maury & at one point worked for Maury. During all these times, Maury was known to be an intelligent, smiling, helpful person you could always count on. I had been kept appraised of Maury over the years via a mutual friend, & was fortunate enough to have lunch with him in October at one of Cummins retirees’ luncheons. He was pretty much his usual old self, but clearly was not well. We are so sorry to learn of Maury’s passing & we send our condolences to the entire family. He will be missed. RIP Maury Lankford.

  3. Maurice was a very caring ’57 classmate always staying in touch and cheerfully serving all of the alums. He will sadly be missed. Our prayers to his family as we lift him up.

  4. So Sorry to hear about Maury. He was a long time member of the reunion committee and involved in planning of reunions and Birthday Parties for the class. He was an excellent computer person. Always a friend to everyone. He will be missed.
