Maxton Douglas Gene Parris

Maxton Douglas Gene Parris, aged 4 months of Columbus, passed away in his sleep on July 9, 2023, in his home. Maxton was born on March 7, 2023, the son of Eli Henderson Gene Parris and Sarah Elizabeth Rutan. Maxton loved his rubber toys. He absolutely lit up when Daddy came home from work. He was waiting for Daddy to teach him to fish. Maxton loved to sleep with his hands on his face. Everyone loved the fact that the only way Maxton would fall asleep was with his hands on his face. The funeral will be at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Oliver officiating. Calling hours will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the parents of Maxton Parris. Survivors include his parents, grandparents, Amanda (Billy) Beller, Curt (Elizabeth) Rutan, and Kirby (April) Parris. Arrangements entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
