Melinda Kaye Caudill, 41, of Virginia Street, died September 30, 2019, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Melinda was born December 31, 1977, in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of David A. Caudill and Linda Carol Cornett.
She was a very outgoing and happy person who never met a stranger. She loved to shop and spend time with her kids.
Cremation has been chosen and there will be no services.
Survivors include her mother, Linda Carol Cornett of Hueysville, Kentucky; sons, Braxton Hill and Mason Hill, both of Columbus; brother, Israel Cornett of Hueysville, Kentucky, and a sister, Shannon Caudill of Columbus; and a niece, Shanya Brown.
She was preceded in death by her father, David A. Caudill.






I’ve known Melinda all my life and we were always very good friends. She was always so funny. We had so many good times together. You will be missed Melinda. Rest easy now.

I pray for your two Son’s to find a way to carry on and keep the good memories of their Mom close to their hearts. I know you loved them dearly and gave them what you could when you could… while fighting other demons in your life. Rest in Peace Sweet Girl.

I am so sorry for your loss. Melinda was a wonderful person who will be so sorely missed. I know my brother, Rob, loved her deeply. He is mourning & missing her greatly. Her friendly warm spirit and generosity was a joy to all who knew her. She never seemed to have met a stranger! She will forever be in our minds and our hearts!💜Please accept our condolences.
