Mitchell, 74, of South Gladstone Street, died at 4:56 a.m. May 20, 2018, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Michael was born February 10, 1944, in Frankfort, Kentucky, the son of Franklin and Gladys Sanders Mitchell.  Visitation will be 11 to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. A  graveside service will immediately follow at Garland Brook Cemetery. Survivors include his son, David Lee Mitchell of Columbus; daughter, Holly Olmstead of Grand Rapids, Michigan; brother, Gary C. (Carlotta) Mitchell, of Louisville; a sister, Juanita F. (Charles) Swengel of Azalia; and one grandchild, Mason Olmstead. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brian Franklin Mitchell; and a brother, Eugene Allen Mitchell. Arrangements provided by the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
