Michael Gene Pierson
December 4, 1947 ~ February 1, 2025
The family of Michael Gene Pierson is saddened by his passing on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. Mike was born on December 4, 194,7 in Glendale, CA to Isabelle (Morgan) Pierson and Dale Pierson. He grew up in California and Ashland, Oregon. In 1968 he joined the United States Marines and served in Vietnam. He raised two sons in Lodi, CA. Mike was a NASCAR fan, watched faithfully on TV, collected cars, and went to races. He enjoyed working on old cars and golfing with his friends. They also had a group of fathers and sons who would get together once a year for camping and hanging out. Mike also has an aunt and cousins with whom he would reminisce about their younger years together.
Mike leaves behind his wife of 29.5 years, Kathy Marie Pierson, of Columbus, IN; two stepsons, Chris (Stacey) Brackett, of Santa Maria, CA, and Matt (Gloria) Brackett, of Sacramento, CA; two sons, Mike D. Pierson, and Jamie Pierson, both of Texas; brother, Rodney Pierson, of Medford, OR; two sisters-in-law, Kim (Robert) Miller, of Columbus, IN, and Lisa (Mike) James of Spanaway, WA; many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike and I were very close while serving in Viet Nam. Spoke with each other a number of times since, sadly not enough, but he has always been in my thoughts and those memories brings a smile to my face and soul. RIP
