Michael "Mikey" Fields, 40, of Clarkson, Kentucky, died at 2:30 p.m. October 13, 2017, at his home. Mikey was born October 19, 1976, in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Robert Wayne Fields and Elaine Basham Parks. He was a hard worker and go-getter, with a unique heart and free spirit. He was all about family and having fun with his friends. Mikey was a loving father, and a wonderful brother and son. A Celebration of Mikey’s Life will be held 4-8 p.m., Monday, October 23, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date at Garland Brook Cemetery. Survivors include his mother, Elaine Parks of Clarkson, Kentucky; daughters, Alyssa Fields of Hartsville, Indiana, and Taylor Fields of Bay City, Michigan; brother, Greg Fields of Columbus; two stepbrothers; a sister, Lori Gilley of Columbus; three stepsisters; nephews, Josh and Justin Gilley, and Gunnar Fields, all of Columbus; and a niece, Annagail Fields of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Timmy Fields.
