Morris Clayton Huffman September 03, 1930 - January 21, 2009 Morris Clayton Huffman, 78, of Columbus died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Huffman had been a life long farmer and was a member of Elizabethtown United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a loyal patron at several local restaurants and coffee shops. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding motorcycles throughout his life and racing go-carts when he was younger. He never missed attending his grandchildrens functions. Born in Bartholomew County Sept. 3, 1930, Mr. Huffman was the son of Zack and Ethel Muir Huffman. He married Phyllis Thias Nov. 25, 1951. Survivors include his wife; sons, Stephen L. (Barb) Huffman of Columbus and Gary J. (Christine) Huffman of Columbus; grandchildren, Evan (Stacy) Huffman, Derek Huffman, Megan (Kevin) Bozell, Lindsay Huffman and Grant Huffman; and one great-grandson, Jacob Stephen Huffman. Funeral Information VISITATION: Friday, January 23, 2009 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home and also Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. FUNERAL: Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Lonny Goen officiating.
