Nancy Jo Urbahns

Nancy Jo Urbahns, 78, of Columbus, died July 8, 2020, at her home.
Nancy was born May 18, 1942, in Columbus, the daughter of William Arnold and Helen Minor Roe. She married Carl F. Urbahns February 5, 1961; he preceded her in death November 14, 2010.
She had been employed as a team leader at Target, and had worked various other jobs in the service industry including Jerry’s Restaurant.
Nancy was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, where she had served as secretary and treasurer, DAR, Order of the Eastern Star, Order of Amaranth, Social Order of the Beauceant, Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion, and the Moose Lodge.
She enjoyed going to concerts, playing Bingo and Euchre, vacations, and traveling with friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2020, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service Monday. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard in memory of Nancy.
Survivors include her brother, Bill (Becky) Roe of Greenwood; grandchildren, Jessica Shane (Jeremy) Lucas, Wyatt Urbahns, Killian Urbahns and Zane Urbahns; and great-grandchildren, Emelia, Liam and Alistiar.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Roe and mother, Helen Skaggs; and sons, Brian Martin Urbahns and Bradley William Urbahns.
