Noah "Luke" Lucas

Noah Leroy “Luke” Lucas, 80, of Edmonton, Kentucky, died August 9, 2018 at his residence. Born in Nashville, IN he was the son of the late Paul and Violet Woods Lucas. He was the husband of Beverly Lambert Lucas, who survives. He was an auto mechanic teacher and a member of the Glasgow Faith Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, one daughter; Rhonda (Scott) Auton, Franklin, IN; one step daughter, Melissa (Raymond) Harper of Columbus, IN; two sons, Ronnie (Diane) Lucas, Mansfield, GA and Robbie (Gwen) Lucas, Russell Springs, KY; two step sons, Russell (Rayna) Withers, Scottsburg, IN and Troy (Patricia) Withers, Columbus, IN; one sister, Barbara Sietz, Ohio; four grandchildren Tish (Matt) Bailey, Cameron Lucas, Tye Auton, Avery Auton; two great-grandchildren, Colton and Audrey Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Wanda Lucas and one sister, Sharon Thompson. Calling will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2018 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, 3855 25th St., Columbus, IN 47203. I worked with Noah during his time at the Indiana Department of Education. He was a wonderful person who truly cared about the students. My condolences to his wife and other family members.
