Nondas Lewellen February 21, 1926 - December 17, 2010 Nondas Lewellen, 84, of 22nd Street, died at 4:30 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2010 at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Paris, Idaho, February 21, 1926, the daughter of Leo and Fern Humphreys Wallentine. She married Henry M. Lewellen November 26, 1947. Nondas retired from Columbus Regional Hospital after 30 years of service. After retirement, she worked part-time at the Agency on Aging. Nondas enjoyed embroidery and going to auctions and antique malls. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by sons, Robert and Michael Lewellen, both of Columbus; sisters, Jeanine Brown of Maryland and Zina Wallentine of Paris; and a grandson, Matthew Lewellen. Nondas was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Shirley Hunburg. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 11 a.m., Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 30th Street, with Bishop Russ Beardall officiating. VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery.
