Norma Imogene Detraz

Norma Imogene Detraz, widow of Dr. Ray H. Detraz died February 7, 2025 in Westmoreland Care and Rehab Center, Westmoreland, Tennessee.
Mrs. Detraz was born January 5, 1927 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Maudie Glass Vester Maples and Floyd C. Vester. She married Ray H. Detraz on September 12, 1984. She attended Ben Davis High School and Dwyer Business School.
Norma was a member of the Lynhurst Baptist Church. She worked at the William H. Block Company for 29 years and Kiefer-Stewart for 9 ½ years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Queen Esther, Oriental Shrine, Daughters of the Nile and Moose Lodge #17.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday February 15, 2025, at the Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends and family may call from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum.
Norma is survived by many nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her husband Ray; parents, Maudie and Floyd; brothers Charles, Floyd, Jr., William and George Vester and sisters, Gracie Lee Dean and Rosemary Darbor.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
