Norman Edward "Eddie" Harber November 23, 2010 Norman Edward Eddie Harber, 51, of Columbus, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, in Columbus. Mr. Harber is survived by his parents, Norman A. (Carol) Harber of Columbus and Peggy A. White Daugherty of Ogilville; daughters, Stacey (Chad) Baker of Spring, Texas, Crystal (Nick) Davis of Pasadena, Texas, and Cherish Harber of Spring, Texas; four grandchildren; a brother, Neil (Nancy) Harber of Houston, Texas; and sisters, Sherri (Jeff) Lewis of Columbus, Susan England of Brownsburg and Kim Lohrke of Virginia City, Montana. He was preceded in death by his step-father, John Daugherty. Eddie was of the Baptist Faith. He was born in Florida and grew up in Columbus, then moved to Spring, Texas, where he started a family and raised his daughters. He lived his final years in Columbus on the farm. He was an ASE certified mechanic. He had a passion for working on cars. Eddie was a loving father, and he enjoyed gardening, outdoors, and the company of others. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2010, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home CALLING: 1 p.m. until service time Sunday, November 28, 2010 BURIAL: Cremation is planned and there will be no burial Donations Information MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Norman "Eddie" Harber Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
