Otto L. Eichel Jr. February 20, 1920 - October 25, 2008 Otto L. Eichel Jr., 88, of Columbus formerly of Ft. Wayne, IN died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Eichel was a graduate of Eastman School of Music and was a musician with the Ft. Wayne Philharmonic and retired from sales. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Golden Kiwanis Club in Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Gwendolyn Hudson Eichel of Columbus, IN; a son, Karl A. (Sharleen ) Eichel of Columbus, IN; a daughter, Janice L. (David) Boyle of Rochester, IN; a sister, Nelda Breitenbuecher of Rochester, N.Y.; 4 granchildren and one great grandchild. Otto was preceded in death by his parents, Otto L. Eichel Sr. and Martha Soos Eichel. Funeral Information SERVICES: There will be no services at this time. Cremation is planned.
