Pam A. Hassfurder

Pam A. Hassfurder, 64, of Elizabethtown, passed away Thursday April 11, 2019 at her home. Pam was born July 18, 1954 in Green County, Kentucky, the daughter of Buford and Eunema Burton Mings. She married George Hassfurder on October 25, 1975. Pam was previously employed as a dispatcher for Edinburgh Police Department, and retired from Arvin Gladstone Plant. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 17, 2019 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday. Burial will be at Bear Creek Baptist Cemetery in Jennings County. Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Survivors include her husband George; her children Carla Colson of Elizabethtown, Janice (Randy) Wright of Greensburg, J.R. Hassfurder of Elizabethtown, G.W. (Crystal) Alexander of Boulder, Montana, and Kimberly Ernstes of Alabama; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and sisters Betty Ming-Skel of Florida, and Sondria (Greg) Dideon of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson Tyler Newton; as well as her brothers Ernie and Timothy Mings.
