BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery. MEMORIALS: Memorial Contributions may be made to Turning Point and Salvation Army. Patricia I. O'Brian, 82, of Columbus, passed away at 4:59 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born in Columbus on April 29, 1932 to George O'Brian and Ruth Bernice Smith Ogilvie. Patricia lived her entire life in Columbus, IN. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1950. Patricia worked at Columbus Process, later to be named CP Electronics for over 20 years until they went out of business. She then retired from Arvin Industries after 18 years of service. Patricia was co-owner of the Variety Shop located on Lafayette Ave. She was an avid bowler in the 1950's in Columbus and North Vernon and was an avid Tony Stewart, racing, Indiana University basketball & Indianapolis Colts fan. Survivors include her sister, Mary Ogilvie Davis DiFlavis of Hudson, FL; 2 nieces, 1 nephew, several cousins and several great nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Rex Davis II.
