Patricia "Pat" Gatewood October 29, 1928 - August 21, 2010 Patricia Pat Gatewood, 81, of Fairfax Drive, died at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Pat was born on Oct. 29, 1928, the daughter of John and Edna Labb Motley. She married Charles F. Gatewood on Nov. 9, 1945 and he survives. Pat volunteered for the Red Cross for several years. She was a member of the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Her passions were reading, sewing, crocheting, dancing and music. In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by a daughter, Sandra Nelson of Greenwood; sons, Garry W. Gatewood and Richard L. Gatewood, both of Columbus; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild, and a sister, Ginny Harshaw. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Father Joseph McNally officiating.
