Patsy Ann Foreman
August 18, 1950 ~ September 1, 2025
Patsy Ann Foreman, 75, of Columbus, died at 6:45 p.m. on September 1, 2025 at her daughter’s home surrounded by family. Patsy was born on August 18, 1950, the daughter of John Henry and Odra Opal (Dixon) Keller.
Pat was a proud mother of seven whose greatest joy was loving (and occasionally wrangling) her ever-growing family of 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Known for her tie-dye shirts, sandals, and unmatched ability to pick out a perfect cantaloupe, she could often be found cruising in her Jeep to a yard sale. She had a special affection for dachshunds and a fondness for old TV classics. Affectionately nicknamed “Short Fuse,” Pat’s petite frame was no match for her fierce love and generous spirit—her heart was as colorful as her wardrobe, and she will be deeply missed.
The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Baldwin officiating. Calling will be from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Survivors include son, Jason Lee (Alicia) Martin, Dakota Foreman, and Logan Foreman all of Columbus; daughters, Nancy Ellen (Michael) Gilpin of Columbus, Lauretta June (Donald Jr.) Porter of Madison, Marlena Jean (Bryan) Blankenhorn, Amy Leann (Billy) Fischer both of Columbus; brother, Jim Keller of Bedford; sister, Norma Keller of Vincennes; grandchildren, Boston and Michael Gilpin, Joseph and Andrew Smith, Danielle McComas, Maddison and Brooke Porter, Kaley, Taylor, and Morgan Blankenhorn, Brendan Critney, Katelyn, Amelia, Megan, Olivia, Bethany, and Jason Martin Jr. and Liam Fischer; great-grandchildren, Heidi, Landon, Gracie and Evelyn Smith, Ella Blankenhorn, Ezra Meyer, Ryder Pollitt, Maddox Kelley, Rowen and Rynleigh Spradling, Kaycen Wiley, and Milli Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Odra Keller and brothers, Harry, Bob, and Herb Keller.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Columbus Indiana Mutual Aid (Checks made to Carl Schulz) or American Diabetes Association
