Mr. Pattingill is survived by his wife, Frances Delores Johnson Pattingill; sons, Paul Wayne Pattingill of Marshfield, Wis., Steve L. Pattingill and Justin Matthew Lee Pattingill, both of Columbus; daughters, Paula L. Capps of Columbus and Mary Frances Hobble of Emporia, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
