SERVICES:Funeral:  Will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday March 21, 2018 at the Flintwood Wesleyan Church with Rev. Gordon Tilley officiating. Visitation: Will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday. Burial: Will be at Union Chapel Cemetery in Grantsburg, Indiana. Memorial Contributions: May be made to the Gideon’s International. Rev. Paul E. Mills, 85, of North Vernon, passed away at 12:35 p.m. March 17, 2018, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.Rev. Mills was born November 2, 1932 in Grantsburg, Indiana, the son of Everett E. and Dimple I. McCutcheon Mills. He married Louise Asher on June 12, 1953. She preceded him in death on January 12, 2002. He then married Virginia Lawson on December 28, 2002, who also preceded him in death on October 17, 2014. Rev. Mills served as pastor at several Wesleyan Churches throughout his life, retiring in November of 2017. He has previously served as Trustee of God’s Bible School and College for 26 years. Rev. Mills also served on the District Board for the Wesleyan Church, Indiana Southern District.Survivors include his children Pamela (Sid) Compton of Westfield, New York, Diana (Philip) Clouse of Indianapolis, Steve (Karen) Mills of Batavia, Ohio; grandchildren Danae Garibaldi, Brandon Mills, Erica Clouse, Ryan Mills, Phillip Mills, Bethany Kline, Stephen Mills and Tyler Mills; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters Norma Woolems of English, Indiana and Anna Garcia of Columbus.He was preceded in death by his parents; both his spouses; brothers Samuel Mills and David Mills; sisters Erma Scott and Hilda Tilley.
