Paul Edward Bennett, 84, of Taylorsville, died at 5:35 A.M. Monday, March 3, 2025 at Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation Center. Paul was born August 13, 1940 in Metcalfe Co., Kentucky, the son of the late Cordis and Mattie (Pedigo) Bennett. He married Melba Louise Irvin on August 19, 1960. To know him is to love him. Paul was a loving husband of 63 years, dad, brother, uncle and the BEST PAPAW EVER! He also was a wonderful caregiver to the love of his life for over 12 years. He loved life to the fullest and always had the best jokes. He loved to take road trips to the hills of Kentucky where he was born and raised. His heart was to the beat of the grand-babies for sure. He was the biggest supporter from school, to sports, to any life challenges, he was there for all of us. He worried about the safety of each of us. From the cookies he bought for each kiddo to the dollar bills and coins he gave every time he seen one of them, we will truly miss him! Our hearts are broken but we will see you again soon. We love you so much❤️ The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home with Chaplin Jim Hudson officiating. Calling will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ohio Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
