Paul H. Barrett Sr. November 15, 1916 - September 06, 2009 Paul H. Barrett Sr., 92, of North Vernon died at 3:10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Paul was a retired farmer and worked at Muscatatuck County Park. He was a member of the Saddle Club. Survivors include a son, Paul Henry (Nora) Barrett of North Vernon; daughters, Karen Hilycord of Edinburgh, Shirley Thrasher of Maryland, Mary (Bill) Higgs of Scipio, Dorothy (Edward) Renoll of North Vernon and Bernice (Vernon) Rau of Pennsylvania; a brother, Charles Barrett of Shelbyville; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Barrett was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Virginia Baker Barrett; and a daughter, Joyce Burton. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
