Pauline C. Sutherlin, 64, of Columbus, died at 3:51 a.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Pauline was born November 2, 1956 in Shelbyville, Indiana, the daughter of Moses and Dorothy Chandler Lain. She married Gerald Ray Sutherlin on June 25, 1988.
Pauline enjoyed taking care of people in home health care. She was also a cook at the Hoosier Kitchen. She had many hobbies such as baking, cleaning, crafts, and going to the casino. She loved going to car shows and sewing for those she loved. Her favorite fur babies were Babe and Foxy.
The funeral will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Carpenter officiating. Calling will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
Survivors include a son, Marcus J. Sutherlin of Columbus, a step son Christopher Byers of Valparaiso, Indiana, a step daughter, Shelley K. Fisher of Columbus and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.

Aunt Pauline…I remember when you came to Mom and Dads when you first found out you were pregnant with Mark! Us being quiet while you were trying to call the father to let him know. You called Louisville where he lived! I think that was the most precious moment you and I had together. Hiding a secret! Love you and miss you so much more than you know! Tell everyone Hello and I love and miss them so bad!
