VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Pauline Louise Henderson, 93, of Nineveh, formerly of Columbus, passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Henderson was born Jan. 17, 1922, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Ralph B. and Ruth E. Davis Chambers. Pauline was a homemaker and did hair for family and friends out of her home. She touched the lives of numerous people as a caregiver for loved ones. Pauline was a member of the Columbus Free Methodist Church. Survivors include her sons, Richard T. (Janet) Whipker of Penrose, Colorado, James D. (Barbara) Whipker of Nashville, Indiana; a daughter, Judith Ann Walker of Mooresville, Indiana; a sister, Delphia M. (Donald) Lucas of Columbus, Indiana; grandchildren, Regina Whipker McDonald, Gwyn Walker Myrick, Dawn Walker Seyerle, Rhonda Whipker Butler, Cathy Whipker Yeley, Renea Whipker Lawson, Julie Whipker Clemins and Raymond Whipker; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clarence D., Raymond L. and James B. Chambers; and sister, Mary K. Bryant.






So sorry to hear about Pauline. She was a good friend of my late Mother, Helen Rice. My sincerest sympathies to the family. May God bless.
