Peiwei 汪培伟 Wang

Peiwei Wang, 65, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2022. Pei Wei was born July 29, 1957 in Shanghai, China where he met his wife, Han Shen, of 38 years. Peiwei grew up in hardship in China during the Cultural Revolution and relocated to the United States in pursuit of a better future for his wife and kids. Mr. Wang graduated from the Shanghai University of Science and Technology in 1977, and upon graduation, he started teaching at the university until 1989. After coming to the United States, he received his Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Columbia State University He lived in Columbus for 28 years teaching at Ivy Tech. Mr. Wang also worked for Cummins and founded Wang Consulting. Peiwei was a proud homeowner who took on many of his own home and car repairs. He was also an avid traveler, taking his family on memorable trips to Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Mr Wang regarded his family and work as his life. He worked hard to give his family the best life possible. His life touched those around him, and his legacy will be remembered to all those who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Han; his daughter, Yang Wang and her husband Matthew Isanuk of San Francisco, California; his son Andrew Wang of Brooklyn, New York; and his granddaughter Hannah Isanuk. Mr. Wang is also survived by his brother Peihong Wang and sister Peiling Wang both of Shanghai, China. A Visitation and time to Remember Peiwei will be held on Friday October 7, 2022 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus, Indiana from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. 汪培伟先生（Peiwei Wang）于2022年10月4日7时57分 病逝于美国印第安纳州哥伦布医院，享年65岁。为追缅亲人，寄托哀思，谨定于2022年10月7日下午5点在印第安州哥伦布市Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home举行告别仪式。 汪培伟先生于1957年7月29日出生于中国上海，1977年他作为老三届学生通过了77高考，成为上海理工大学77级大学生，毕业后留校任教。汪培伟先生于1989年来美后，在密苏里州哥伦比亚州立大学攻获工业工程硕士学位，毕业后先在Ivy Tech任教，之后在康明斯公司工作，还创立了Wang Consulting。 汪培伟先生视工作为生命，一辈子努力上进，成绩卓著，他活出了不平凡的一生。 愿汪培伟先生在天之灵安息
