Marvin Brown officiatingVISITATION: 1 p.m. until time of service SaturdayINURNMENT: At a later date at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Greensburg Penny Jo Phillips, 60, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Penny was born August 11, 1957, in Greensburg. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Penny is survived by her mother, Rose Tennell Hellmich of Greensburg; son, Bruce (Angel) Phillips and daughter, Stacey Phillips, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Darrion, Bryant, Kimbriana, and Olivia; sisters, Faith (Jeff) Koors of Greensburg, Kathy (Don) Settles of Laurel, Indiana, Brenda Sallee of Greensburg and Crystal (Kevin) Foster of Greensburg. She was proceeded in death by her father, Joseph Hellmich and a brother-in-law, Tim Sallee.

To the family- Penny was one of the best neighbors ever! She was so respectful and was concerned with the noise level. She was always so kind to me and everyone who came to her door or was visiting my apt. She came over and introduced herself to me the day I moved in and made me feel welcomed to the neighborhood. May God bless you all in your time of bereavement. She will be missed but know that she loved you all with all her heart. She always talked so well of her family.
