Phyllis A. Fields

Phyllis A. Fields, 59, of Hartsville, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023, at her home. She was born in Glasgow, KY on February 16, 1964, to Philmore and Carolyn Fields. Phyllis attended Grace Baptist Church in Hope, IN. She loved dirt track racing, demolition derby, football, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was an avid Walmart shopper. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2023, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Bourland officiating. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Fields; fiancé, Gregory L. Harper; sons, Jeremy (Robin) Ogle and James (Tiffany) Ogle both of Columbus, IN; sisters, Jennifer (Raymond) Anderson of Butlerville, IN; Janet Townsend Jr. of Seymour, IN, Sandy (Tony) Dover of Seymour, IN; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, Philmore Fields; and grandson, Cayden Ogle.
