Phyllis Marie Clark August 27, 1937 - February 10, 2006 Phyllis Marie Granny Clark, 68, of Iowa Street died at 12:35 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2006 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Phyllis lived her entire life here in Columbus. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, and dolls. She loved and enjoyed her family and friends. Mrs. Clark was born August 27, 1937 in Columbus, the daughter of Omer and Elizabeth Hayden Ayers. She married Donald L. Clark in 1955. Survivors include sons, Dennis Clark and Steven (Diane) Clark, both of Columbus; daughters, Carlotta (Gary) Griner and Becky Clark, both of Columbus; a brother, Bob (Wilma) Summers of Columbus; grandchildren, Gary Griner, Travis Clark, Amy Balser, Chrissy Clark, Jennifer Skinner, Michael Fields and Brandon Fields; and greatgrandchildren, Sophia and Makaylah Griner, Christopher Meadows and Madison and Jacob Fields. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Donna Clark; a sister, Norma Sutherland; and a grandchild, Michael Griner.
