Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I was deeply saddened by the death of our dear family friend. Quentin was part of my life since my birth. He and Carol bought me my first red wagon. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Quentin will be sadly missed.

  2. We have lost a great friend! We will miss him. We had many great trips with him and Carol and will have many great memories!

  3. We thought of you today, But that is nothing new. We thought of you yesterday And will tomorrow too. We think of you in silence And make no outward show. For what it meant to lose you Only those who love you know. Remembering you is easy, We will do it everyday. It’s the heartache of losing you That will never go away My heart is broken and I miss you terribly. I love you!!! Dawn

  4. Please know that Quentin joined the Lord peacefully and without pain or suffering. Quentin’s influence in my life has been unmeasurable. He tried his best to guide me through my life. I suspect there were probably a few times he was a tad stressed out, but in the end I would say he did an excellent job. He will be sadly missed; however knowing he is with Carol, Cliff, and Brenda fills my heart. I love you Quinny! I know you are still with me always! Trish

  5. You read those small quotes or long poems about someone who has made a great influence on you or how much you love them and think they are really great and perfect. I personally think none of those can express the immense impact that person has made on our life though. Quenty, as I usually referred to him as, was a influence on my life that I have never experienced. He was more than a grandfather to me. He was a person I could look up to and know everything will be okay. He always had a smile on his face and his heart-warming atmosphere definitely showed when he stepped in a room. Even on his bad days, which were very few, he acted like there was not a sin in the world. I can honestly say, I don’t think a day went by where I saw him “under-the-weather”. I don’t want to finish this up because I could say so much more about him, but its just like those poems. Nothing can ever compare to what the true feeling in your heart is like. But I can finish up saying this: Quentin Miller was a man that should never be forgotten. From his wisdom to strength and everything in between, he should be recognized for all of it. In our hearts, he will never be replaced and I will always keep that smiling face in my head. I love you, Quenty and I will miss until the day I see you again. I’ll keep on smiling for you.

  6. I have many fond childhood memories of Uncle Quentin (my first motorcycle ride!) from my visits to Quentin and Carol’s house. We are blessed to have kept up with Quentin through the years — he was a kind and generous man, and our kids have appreciated his reaching out to them at Christmastime. He will be missed.

  7. Quentin will be missed, he was a best friend to my Dad (Jack Scott) of ET Motors State Street in Columbus, IN I talked to Quentin a lot from my home here in Dallas, NC, We spent a lot of time together this summer, he was with my family and i during the time of my Dad being sick, he passed away in July. I know they are with each other in Heaven today. my Sympathy is with his family. wish i could have known where they all were this summer, i worried about Quentin driving and living alone. RIP Quentin, love u
