Rachel Gay

Rachel Gay, 88, of Union Street, died at 3:36 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. Rachel was born Oct. 1, 1927, in Jackson, Kentucky, the daughter of Boyd and Dicie Herald. Survivors include her children, Clark C. Gay, David R. Gay, Geraldine Lee and Carl W. Gay; and her granddaughter, Trina S. Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Herald, Timmeth Herald, Dewey Herald, Tom Herald and Ellitt Herald; sisters, Martha Rice and Dulcena Brown; and a grandchild, Teddi R. Lee.
