Lonnie Goen FINAL RESTING PLACE: Garland Brook Cemetery Raymond L. "Ray" Wheeler, 62, of Taylorsville, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Ray was born August 18, 1953, in Columbus to William O. and Elberta L. Sherril Wheeler. He married Vickie L. Fellows on November 23, 1973 and she survives. Ray retired from Cummins Engine Company after 38 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, watching western movies, feeding the birds and sharing his garden produce with his friends and neighbors. Ray is survived by his wife, Vickie L. Wheeler; son, Bill Wheeler of Taylorsville; daughters, Brandy Wheeler and Buffy Wheeler both of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Alex Wheeler, Abby Wheeler and Caleb Wheeler, Rose Dreibelbis and Zoe Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Raymond L. Wheeler Jr.; a half-brother and a half-sister.
