Reita K. Voss, 79, of Seymour, passed away at 11:31 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Covered Bridge Health Campus. She was born in Bartholomew County, IN on May 25, 1942 to Carl E. Voss and Fawn McKinney Voss. Reita was previously employed at C and G Tool in Jonesville and retired from Vectren after 39 years of service. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jonesville where she held many offices throughout the years. She was baptized in 1942 and confirmed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in 1956. Reita enjoyed scrapbooking, making cards and flower gardening. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Matthew Jung and Pastor Ed Keinath officiating. Calling will be from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Reita will be laid to rest at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Jonesville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana. Survivors include her brother, Phillip (Sandy) Voss of Columbus, IN; nieces and nephews, Mark (Robin) Voss of Seymour, IN, Leigh Anne Voss of Columbus, IN, Matthew (Charissa Roberts) Voss of Williams, IN and Chris Voss of Brownstown, IN; She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl E. Voss and Fawn Beesley and a brother, Dennis Voss.

  2. Went to school with Reita many years ago , ran around together from high school till about 20 years ago when we moved to Kentucky and she moved to Jonesville then Seymour . Sure will miss her , caught up with her to late ❤️ Bonnie Streeval Holley

  4. Reita was a link back to two of my “surrogate mothers” Alma Voss and Edna Hehman. When I was little, I lived next door visited them almost every day (60 years ago). I remember them talking about hearing from Reita, that Reita came by to visit, and so on and talking about what she was doing, what was going on in her life and so forth. They loved her and were very proud of her. In later years I knew her through church. We will miss her.
